week 15

This week was last week of the semester, so it was the last podcast I have to write. This semester passed too quickly.However, it tired me vey much. I have lots of work to do and this is the first time I got comm 101 and it was a little bit hard for me. On the last week Mr. O'Regan handed out our second draft of our second essay it was not a good grade so my final essay have to be good to pass the comm 101. I hope there will be o problem in this lesson. On the last day of our lesson we talked about our final and how we have to prepare. so that's it one semester was finished I hope every one get a good grade with their lessons and there will be a good holiday for all of us :)

week 14

This week was not good not bad for me. It was an ordinary week.I had no exam but I had a second draft to write. My tutorial was cancelled because of the May 1 and my essay delayed to write. But at the end I went to tutorial and talked with Mr. O'Regan. Hehelped me at some of my mistakes and told me how I was write.
On Monday, we talked about our essay and on Wednesday we talked about quotation. On the othre hand this week was spring fest. I hope everyone can enjoy and relax before the finals...

week 13

This week was bad for me because on Monday I heard there was a car accident again from our school students. I am not meeting them but it is not the point not to be sad.' HEPIMIZIN BASI SAGOLSUN'.



When we turned the lessons on Monday, Mr. O'Regan handed out our second essay's first draft. I have lots of to correct and I get a tutorial to get an help on Thursday, but because of the May 1, there was an holiday and my tutorial postponed to on Monday. Again I started to correct my essay but I have to go to Mr. O'Regan's room and get help. On Monday, we talked about the silly mistakes that we did on our first draft and Mr. O'Regan again and again showed the correct ones.



On Wednesday, we just tried to wrote the same essay on 70 minutes. It was very hard for me to finish but I did it. I knew it was very short and funny conclusion but overall it was an essay...

week 12

This week was good for me, because we had an holiday so I had a rest :) On Monday in comm 101, we talked about our second essay first draft. Mr. O'Regan also handed out out podcast. I really did not understand the evaluation because someone told me that I am good the other said the opposite. Also we talked about that we have to evaluate our podcast and hand in on Monday to Mr. O' Regan . At the end of the monday's lesson Mr. handed out our first draft grade and it supplied me a motivation to do my second essay.

On Wednesday, we have no class but I was sure that everbody worked until on Thursday for essay 2 like me :D

week 11

This week was too hard for me to adapt the lessons because of the spring break. I was still in the holiday mood. However, I am good now :)

On Monday, in comm 101 lesson Mr. O'Regan collected our podcast and after that we talked about our second essay. Mr. O'Regan did us a favor about our deadline and postponed to four days.We also talked about our second reading about our second essay.Then, Mr. O'Regan handed out our second reading. We talked a little bit about our 2nd essay.

On Wednesday, Mr. O'Regan made us a quiz about Breandan and Lauren. It helped me to understand the text more detail. After the quiz, we talked about our second essay's firts draft. Mr. O'Regan told us how we did the first draft and gave us an example. This example showed us his expectation.

Next week on Monday Mr. O'Regan will give us our first essay's grade, I hope I get an good grade. Because this grade will affect my mood when I do my work and dispose to do my best...

week 10

week 9

This week was a nightmare for me. I have lots of things to do. Firstly, I did my second draft and then my research question about sociology and in my last school day I have an science midterm.However, everything went so quickly because the lovely holiday is waiting me :)
On Monday, in comm 101 lesson we talked about our second draft.At the beginning of the lesson Mr. O'Regan showed us something in his computer about our second draft and my percentage was 45 then I became very anxious because I was sure that I did not plagiarize after I panicked Mr. O'Regan told that this diagram did not show the plagiarism, it showed that our essay was not original.When I heard this I became very relax. After all, we talked about plagiarism on Monday.
On Wednesday we talked about cheating. First I thought that it was about copying but when Mr. O'Regan told us to had a list about the actions which we think that it was cheating I understood that it was about our relationship.We talked about cheating and at the end Mr. O'Regan gave us a text to read.Because this text will be in our second essay. Do not forget to read and do your podcast assessment :) Have a good holiday....... :):):)

week 8

This week was very difficult for me. I have two midterms and a quiz. My midterms were sociology and history, therefore I have lots of subjects to study. However, everything came to an end. The midterms were not bad, I hope I will get a good grade.

On comm.101, on Monday morning, I went to Mr. O'Regan's office to talk about my first draft. I have lots of mistakes an many of them were tense and wrong word. I also answered the third question wrong. On Wednesday, Mr. O'Regan talked about the third question and gave us some ideas how we will answer it.We seperated the 3rd question into 3 parts to answer easily.

I paid attention what we did on Monday and Wednesday woks and what we talked about Mr. O'Regan and wrote my second draft. I hope this essay brings me a good grade. And then I will have a very good spring break :)

week 7

This week was very busy.I have lots of works.However, podcast was the hardest one for me. Because I left my work to the last day because of my midterms, but at the end of the day I finished it and send it to Mr. O'Regan's share folder.

In the comm 101 lessons, on monday we talked about ; meanings, forms(noun,verb,adverb,adjective), collocation, pronunciation, spelling and register.And also talked about our first drafts.

On wednesday, we talked about tutorial one-to-one to talk about our first drafts mistakes in Mr. O'Regan's office.Mr. O'Regan told us that all of us have to go to his office and sign a date for the tutorials.At the end of the lesson I went and signed it to on Monday.Also in the lesson we talked about do's and don't's about how to write summary.Firstly I do not understand how this will help to me but at the end I understood that this tactics will help me to write better essays.

week 6

This week was passed very quickly, comm 101 lessons passed too. In comm lessons we all talked about our hard work first essay. Mr O'Regan helped us a lot but I am still nervous that I can do a good job.Because this work will affect my grade very much.

I have been working to my essay for three days,I hope I can fill 3 pages and it will not be rubbish. I am also nervous about podcast because I have not select my topic yet. When I finish my essay I will be start to do the podcast.

Finally, I hope I can get a good grade both for essay and podcast.

week 4

This week was very busy for me, I have 1 midterm and 2 quizzes on the same day and I did not want to remember how to study on that day. That day was a nigthmare to me but I am glad now because it was finished.On the communication, lessons were enjoyable for me.We talked about reading which we have to write an essay about it.Actually I am not really sure about the topic.I read it and took a note but still not sure that what they told.Is the internet reduce social involvement and pyschological well- being or increase social involvement and psychological well-being.
We talked about positive and negative effects about internet in social involvement and psychological well-being. That was help me to understand but I am still anxious about the essay. Because I have to write at least three pages and I do not know how to write it like that lenght. I hope this week will help me to understand the topic much better. And I am still very glad to join on Mr. O'Regan's class because the lessons were very enjoyable for me I hope this will last at the end of this semester.

week 3

This week lesson's were so forcible that I understood the lessons were started. Last week I said when we would started to discuss the reading about 'seductive space'. This week we discussed and also tried to answer some questions. However, I understood that I did not read it good enough to answer the questions. I thought that I got 80 points from the qıiz that Mr. O'Regan handed out and I gave my answer paper back to Mr O'Regan for checking.

On wednesday when Mr O'Regan came to class and told that I got an only 50 points. When I heard this I was miserable because I thought that I read it perfect and I did well enough to get a good grade but I was wrong.
After that Mr. O'Regan talked about the new reading that we have to. It would be more difficult than 'the seductive space'. When I heard this I did not know what to do because this reading would be for our first essay. I have to read it more carefully and take an extra note. After the talking about reading we became a group and discussed the questions about internet. This exercise was good for me because I met new persons from class which I did not know before.

When I came at home I started to read the new reading about 'internet paradox'.First I was anxious because I have lots of things to do and I have a midterm to study.Therefore, I was nervous becuase I must read this reading very well , it was important to get a good grade from first essay. When I started to read,it was very easy to continue. The topic was very interesting for me because my major is sociology and I love to read about science for person and community. Now I finished the reading, and I hope this is not bring me the same reason that fisrt reading did.

week 2

This week was so fantastic I went to school just for 2 days because of the snow holiday.On wednesday I hoped to do the reading about 'The Seductive Space' but we did not therefore, I forgot the topic and I have to scan it. I wish we will do the reading this week :)

We did not do the reading but it was good for me. Because I learned that my writing was terrible.The important point,this lesson is about writing.We talked about our diagnostic essays and Mr O'Regan told us that if he gave our a grade lots of us would get F.When I heard this I felt very restless, I thought that I wrote well enough because I read 'The Electronic Addiction' .However, this was not important so much because I also have to answer the right question.If I write a lot but also not answer the question I also get F. And I do it a lot because when I start to write,I try to write all I know and then I forget the question.

In the lesson Mr O'Regan told about our writings and gave us some advices.This advices helps me actually and the feedback showed my mistakes.on the other hand, there is a hope because I wrote a thesis on my diagnostic essay :) At the end I repeat my wish, I hope I can get a good grade in comm 101 :)

week 1

This is the first time I take comm 101, before this semester I took english 100 and this course was contented for me and I got a good grade to encourage myself. However when I learned my teacher,everyone told me that Mr. O'Regan is too hard and the course is too difficult thus, I think I can not get a good grade to increase my GPA.

After all, in the first lesson I was a little bit nervous but when I saw Mr. O'Regan I felt a little bit relax. We just talked about the lesson and ourselves in the first day. In the second day we wrote diagnostic essay and we have to write 500 words and Mr. O'Regan told us that this essay would be the shortest one that we write. This bothered me but when I talked my friends,who got comm 101, they told me that the teacher was write I have to write essays more than 500 words.

In the second week we had a reading about our subject.First when I saw the pages that I have to read it was too much for me because I was still in the holiday mood :) but when I started to read it was very quick for me to finished it because I liked the subject that I read it.

In the lesson Mr. O'Regan was talked about the works we have to do in this semester. We have to write blogs every week when I heard this I was very glad because I think that these blog will help me to improve my writings.And when Mr. O' Regan talked about the podcast I was very happy because I am not very good at presentation because I feel very nervous when I am in the middle of the every one. Now I am very glad to be in the Mr. O'Regan' s class I hope this can be last at the end of this semester...
